JALAJ follows a monk and a rapper between a sacred river town and a futuristic city. Their environments bring different rhythms and perspectives to the same film.
Meaning beneath the image
The film explores the commercialization of sacred spaces and the yoga industry in America. Its visual worlds give that subject a setting, while the characters offer a human way into the conversation.
Sound and image together
The soundtrack “Rishikesh” by Ajinkya Nair (Multani) sits alongside Vasav’s direction and 3D animation. The project brings philosophy, rhythm, and digital craft into a shared creative work.
